Director of Accounting at Garaga

In this strategic position reporting to the Director of Finance, you will oversee all accounting operations, from financial statement preparation to tax filings and internal controls. You'll contribute to budgeting related to manufacturing, enabling organization growth while ensuring compliance with ASPE standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete accounting cycle and payroll processes

• Ensure accurate financial statements and meeting closing deadlines

• Coordinate tax filings and external audits

• Implement financial controls and risk management

• Lead budget preparation and analysis of variances

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience

• 3-5 years in an accounting firm

• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel

• Bilingual in English and French is an asset
