Hybrid Director of Accounting at Garaga

In this pivotal Director of Accounting role, you will report directly to the Director of Finance. Your responsibilities will include managing all accounting operations from financial statement preparation to tax filings. You'll also focus on budget management related to manufacturing, ensuring the organization's growth while maintaining financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete accounting cycle and payroll processes

• Ensure accurate financial statements and meet closing deadlines

• Coordinate tax filings and external audits

• Implement financial controls and risk management

• Lead budget preparation and analyze variances

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience

• 3-5 years in an accounting firm

• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel

• Bilingual in English and French is an asset
