Full-Time Accounting Manager

MVT Canadian Bus Inc. is looking for a Full-Time Accounting Manager for its Barrie, Ontario operations. This role involves financial management and overseeing the accounting team to ensure accuracy and timely completion of reports.

As part of the management team, you will report to the General Manager, focusing on managing financial activities and directing the AP/AR and payroll departments. Your responsibilities will include preparing reports that summarize and forecast company activities and financial positions, while leveraging your analytical and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial activities and reporting for the division

• Oversee payroll processing and AP/AR functions

• Prepare summaries forecasting business activity and financial position

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of departmental tasks

• Analyze and interpret relevant financial data

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in accounting and finance

• Five years of managerial experience in accounting

• CPA or legacy CMA/CGA designation

• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and practices

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
