Accounting Support Specialist

Location: Innisfil

Accounting Support $25.00–$27.00/hour | Full-Time | Onsite

TAPP Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced  Accounting Support  professional to join our client’s team at Innisfil, ON. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation, excellent attention to detail, and hands‑on experience with  Microsoft Dynamics .

You’ll support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and audit preparation while working closely with the Financial Controller and cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do

Process and record daily financial transactions accurately and on time

Verify that company procedures are followed when recording financial transactions

Maintain and balance financial records using manual and computerized systems

Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare trial balances for all legal entities

Maintain general ledgers and prepare financial reports as required

Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports

Monitor account status and assist with  Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly

Assist with monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and government remittances

Support annual and government audits by providing required documentation and data

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting regulations, policies, and procedures

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient financial processing

Maintain organized financial records and a professional, team-oriented work environment

Support department goals and contribute to a positive workplace culture

Perform other duties as assigned by the Financial Controller

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in  accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is required

Experience with older versions of Sage accounting software  is a strong asset

Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team

Compensation  $25.00–$27.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
