Position: Manufacturing Accountant for Albarrie
Albarrie Canada Limited is hiring a Manufacturing Accountant to enhance financial operations in Barrie, Ontario. This full-time onsite role involves accountability for diverse financial responsibilities.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the General Accountant handles comprehensive financial activities including preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and conducting reconciliation of accounts. This position requires a solid foundation in manufacturing accounting processes and coordination with different departments for effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review bank account reconciliations monthly

• Calculate WSIB and file taxes accurately

• Update GL account management processes and templates

• Review journal entries related to payroll records

• Present financial reports to stakeholders as requested

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• 5+ years in plant accounting within manufacturing

• In-depth knowledge of ERP systems and Quick Books

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
