Prepare complex tax returns and compliance filings as a Senior Staff Accountant with Baker Tilly in Collingwood, Ontario. Hybrid work is available.
This permanent, full-time position supports individual and corporate tax work, financial statements, and client accounting updates. You will manage accounting software tasks, collaborate on engagements, and provide attentive client service. The role also includes mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare complex individual and corporate tax returns
- Complete T4, T5, HST, and compliance returns
- Prepare audit, review, and compilation financial statements
- Post general ledger entries and reconcile client accounts
- Train junior staff and support engagement completion
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA considered an asset
- Minimum three years of public accounting experience
- Experience managing large engagements
- In-depth accounting and tax knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills
