Process biweekly payroll for 7,000+ US employees as a Payroll Specialist with Sun Life in a 15-month contract opportunity.
Reporting to the Senior Payroll Manager, Payroll Operations, you will manage accurate, timely payroll, tax, and benefit processing. The work includes payroll accounting, reconciliations, compliance, reporting, and inquiries. Knowledge of ADP Global View and Workday is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:- Process end-to-end biweekly payroll for 7,000+ US employees
- Calculate salaries, bonuses, overtime, deductions, and adjustments accurately
- Reconcile payroll data against company records
- Prepare year-end tax forms and government filings
- Participate in audits and handle payroll inquiries
- Working knowledge of US payroll processes and taxation
- Experience with payroll accounting and reconciliations
- Minimum two-plus years of HR, payroll, or accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
