Field Coordinator; Civil Construction

Maple Reinders Constructors is currently looking for an experienced Field Coordinator to join our team in Dundalk, Ontario
. The successful candidate will join our field operations department where we focus on Civil and ICI construction.

As a Field Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to support our Project Managers & Superintendents in the delivery of our exciting ICI and Civil projects. The focus of your role will be to maintain contract documentation, support estimating and assist with the preparation of budgets and schedules. We work on a variety of types of contracts such as Design Build, Plan and Spec and Construction Management and you would gain experience on all of these.

The purpose of the Field Coordinator is to ensure that a profit is made on the project, that the work is performed as per the contract documents, that the project is completed with outstanding quality, and that the job‑site is a safe workplace. In doing so, you will be involved in:

• Update and maintain purchase order logs, shop drawing and submittal logs, and plan logs.
• Gain an understanding of how to select suppliers and sub‑trades and obtain quotations.
• Assist with and/or clarify scope of work with sub‑trades and suppliers.
• Ensure a continuous focus on site safety in accordance with regulatory requirements as well as our Corporate Health and Safety Policy.
• Attend site meetings and assist in the completion of project deficiencies.
• Track and keep inventory of supplies to ensure they arrive on schedule and are tracked.

• Minimum 2 years or more experience as a Field Coordinator or Project Coordinator in the construction industry.
• A University Degree in Civil Engineering, College Diploma in Architectural Technology, Construction Management or Civil Engineering Technology or a combination of education and industry experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 / Year (depending on experience)
