Construction Site Superintendent – ICI (Interior Renovations)

Location: Barrie, ON
Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 (based on experience)

We are seeking a Construction Site Superintendent to join an established ICI general contractor with a strong pipeline of interior renovation work in the Barrie area. The majority of projects involve renovations within occupied facilities, particularly retirement and senior living environments.

This role requires a Superintendent who is organized, communicative, and experienced working in live environments where safety, coordination, and scheduling are critical.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations for interior renovation projects

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff

• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met

• Enforce health & safety standards on site

• Manage work in occupied spaces with minimal disruption to residents and staff

• Liaise with project management, consultants, and clients

• Conduct site meetings and inspections

• Ensure quality control and compliance with drawings and specifications

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent in ICI construction

• Strong background in interior renovation projects

• Experience working in occupied buildings (retirement homes, healthcare, schools, or similar environments)

• Ability to manage projects completed in phases or sections

• Solid understanding of construction sequencing and coordination

• Strong communication and leadership skills

Work Environment:

• Full-time, site-based role

• Projects primarily interior-focused, with occasional exterior scope
