Entry-Level Highway and Bridge Inspector

This newly created position requires you to aid in monitoring and inspecting highway and bridge construction activities, ensuring they meet MTO's standards. Responsibilities include identifying deficiencies, assisting in documentation, and maintaining communication with contractors and stakeholders to enhance project outcomes. You will also support the field office in administration efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with quality assurance and testing of construction materials

• Monitor contractor work and confirm specifications adherence

• Document QC deficiencies and maintain records

• Liaise with stakeholders during project execution

• Support office administration and maintain diaries

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree/diploma in a relevant Civil field

• Experience as a Junior Inspector is preferred

• Must have a valid driver’s license for travel

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Capable of handling routine technical problems
