Civil Construction Assistant Coordinator

Support Maple Reinders in a Civil Construction role as an Assistant Field Coordinator for a term beginning in September 2026. Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain essential documentation and assist with budgets and schedules.

As an Assistant Field Coordinator with Maple Reinders, you will gain hands-on experience in various contract types, including Design Build and Construction Management. This position is ideal for full-time students or recent graduates from relevant post-secondary programs, such as Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering. Your focus will include site safety, inventory management, and supplier coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain purchase order, shop drawing, and plan logs

• Assist in selecting suppliers and clarifying scope with sub-trades

• Support site safety adherence in line with regulations

• Attend site meetings and address project deficiencies

• Track inventory of supplies to ensure timely arrival

Requirements:

• Full-time enrollment in a related post-secondary program

• Recent graduates from relevant studies completed in 2026

• Experience with Microsoft Project and Excel is a plus

• Willingness to travel to various project sites

• Focus on safety and quality in project execution
