Project Coordinator, Land Development
RVA is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join their Land Development team in a full‑time position based out of our newly opened Barrie office or our Toronto office. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for assisting Project Managers in the coordination of projects under construction.
Responsibilities- Completing pre‑design site reconnaissance and surveys.
- Assist with quantity calculations and preparation of tender documents.
- Carrying out contract administration duties.
- Review and/or preparation of Payment Certificates.
- Client contact and coordination of construction stage activities.
- Coordination of site representative staff for Land Development projects.
- Perform site reviews during construction when required, including full‑time and/or part‑time site representative duties.
- Preparation of site diary and site review reports.
- Undertake as‑built surveys and measurements.
- Auto Desk AutoCAD/Civil 3D drafting related to the preparation of as‑built drawings and records.
- Other duties as assigned and appropriate for this position to perform site review during construction.
- Must be a graduate of a civil engineering diploma program at an accredited college.
- 5 years or more of sewer, water, and roadwork experience for an engineering consultant, municipality, or contractor.
- Must have a valid class G driver’s licence.
- Must possess own vehicle for transportation between office and assigned work sites.
- Possess a strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.
- Operates as a self‑starter, taking initiative to drive pursuits and projects forward, within a collaborative team framework.
- Experience or aptitude for meeting timelines and budgets and other skills appropriate to consulting.
- Proven capabilities in writing reports and other technical documents.
- Familiar with local design and construction standards and requirements for permits and approvals.
- Demonstrates superior oral and written English communication skills.

The salary for this position is: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00
. Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
