Fiber Construction Inspector

Position: Fiber Construction Inspector at TEP
TEP Canada seeks a Fiber Construction Inspector in Barrie, ON. This full-time role focuses on overseeing fiber optic cable projects and ensuring compliance with specifications.

As a Fiber Construction Inspector, you will play a key role in overseeing the construction of fiber optic facilities. You'll work extensively on-site and in the office, collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy in installations. This position demands strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks independently while maintaining high standards in all construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage fiber optic construction on-site with crews

• Verify installation depths and equipment positions

• Document installed quantities accurately on-site

• Lead quality inspections on all installations

• Interact with stakeholders to resolve construction issues

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR

• Work-ready in a variety of conditions

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Basic understanding of telecommunication principles

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
