Our Lady of Grace Music Director

Location: Angus

Become the Music Director at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in San Antonio, TX. We are looking for a passionate bilingual (Spanish/English) leader to guide our vibrant music ministry effectively.

In this full-time exempt role, you will collaborate with pastoral staff and volunteers to create a spiritually enriching worship environment. Your responsibilities include overseeing choir direction, preparing for Masses, and leading musical activities. You will ensure music aligns with worship to uplift the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage talent development and scheduling of music ministers

• Re-establish and direct parish and children's choirs

• Select music for various liturgical celebrations

• Meet with liturgical committees and families regarding music

• Attend all required Masses and events for music performance

Requirements:

• Education in Music, Liturgical Music, or relevant experience

• Proficiency in piano or organ performance

• Strong leadership and organizational abilities

• Understanding of Catholic liturgy and its music

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
