Shape the travel experience for Barrie residents as a Transit Reservationist with MVT. This role involves scheduling, customer service, and real-time problem-solving.
In this pivotal role, you will assist the Customer Service Supervisor by booking specialized transit trips and managing schedules to maintain optimal service levels. As a Reservationist, you will also address passenger needs, facilitate communication between operators and clients, and keep detailed records to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promptly answer and assist passenger calls
• Input trip information and manage scheduling software
• Communicate timely updates on trip adjustments
• Oversee passenger cancellations and reschedule trips
• Maintain up-to-date operational records and logs
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
• Previous customer service and data entry experience preferred
• Familiarity with transit scheduling software is a plus
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
