Pay: CA $20.00–CA $22.00 per hour

• At least one Saturday per month is required.

The Water Store Midland has helped families and cottage owners across Midland and cottage country get clean, safe, great-tasting water since 2003. We sell and service water softeners, iron and sulphur filters, reverse osmosis systems, UV systems, and related equipment. Customers visit the store, call us, order online, and also come in to fill water jugs on site.

This is a hands-on store and customer support role. You will greet walk-in customers, ring up sales, answer the phone, help with e-commerce orders, assist people using the water fill station, and make sure our technician has the information he needs. Most interactions are straightforward. We are looking for someone who is comfortable dealing with the occasional difficult or upset customer without getting rattled.

• Greet customers when they come in and help them with products, water tests, and questions
• Help customers who come in to buy jugs or fill water jugs at our on-site fill station
• Ring up purchases on our POS / cash register
• Answer incoming calls and help customers with orders, basic troubleshooting, or next steps
• Take clear notes and pass complete information to Thomas (our technician) so he can follow up or book installs
• Help set appointments for installations when needed
• Assist e-commerce customers with questions or simple troubleshooting
• Pick, pack, and fulfill online orders
• Keep product knowledge current (training provided)
• Work with the rest of the team so customers have a smooth experience

• Prior customer service and/or retail experience (required)
• Clear, friendly communicator in person and on the phone
• Organized enough to take accurate notes and hand work off cleanly
• Willing to learn our products and systems
• Reliable, positive, and able to work independently once trained
• High school diploma preferred

Water filtration experience is a plus, not required. Training is provided.

Monday to Friday, plus at least one Saturday per month. Weekends as needed.
