Bilingual Automotive Collections Agent

Use French and English customer service skills as a Collections Agent with Northlake Financial in Barrie, Ontario. This is an onsite position.
The Collections Agent supports customers through repayment by phone while managing delinquent automotive finance accounts. You will negotiate payment arrangements, apply policy, and document account updates accurately. The work requires sound judgment, empathy, and performance focus.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage French and English customers to prevent delinquency
Assess late-stage accounts and negotiate payment arrangements
Answer customer questions clearly, professionally, and accurately
Document interactions, commitments, and updates in collections systems
Escalate account risks and support assigned collection duties
Requirements:
Fluency in written and verbal French and English
Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills
Professional empathy during sensitive customer conversations
High school diploma or equivalent education
Flexible availability Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
