Strengthen public service through customer experience leadership, operational oversight, and practical improvements across Service Thunder Bay’s service channels.
This full-time Supervisor, Customer Service, supports the City Manager's Office in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The position combines people leadership with customer service expertise, service standards, performance measurement, and operational problem-solving. Working with the Manager, Customer Service, you will help deliver centralized services for residents and community members.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor service delivery across front-counter and telephone support
- Oversee email and digital service channels
- Give direction, motivate, and recognize staff
- Resolve escalated issues for residents and community members
- Identify trends and implement practical service improvements
- Minimum three years leadership experience in service delivery or customer experience
- Public sector experience preferred
- Diploma in public administration, business administration, communications, or related field
- Ability to interpret operational data and identify trends
- Commitment to respectful, inclusive, customer-focused public service
Use leadership, service standards, and customer experience knowledge to improve centralized public services for Thunder Bay residents.
