Continuing Education – Night School - DUAL CREDIT SUPPORT TEACHER - Personal Finance (Adult)

Responsibilities- Attend each dual credit class.
- Track attendance and support academic progress.
- Meet with students regularly to monitor their academic progress and implement interventions as required.
- Liaise with the secondary and post‑secondary institutions to ensure that students have access to the range of supports and services they require to achieve success.
- Co‑ordinate the exchange of academic progress information (marks and attendance) between the post‑secondary institution and the secondary school to support student success.
- Assist students with the effective use of the Blackboard Learning Management System.
- Provide student progress reports to partner boards where applicable.
- Complete and submit provincial dual credit data report.
- Organize course completion celebration in collaboration with partner boards.
- Attend Dual Credit Teacher’s Forum, Thursday, February 5 (3:30 pm‑5:00 pm).

- In addition to the duties assigned to the teacher under the Act and by the board, a teacher shall be responsible for effective instruction, training and evaluation of the progress of pupils in the subjects assigned to the teacher and for the management of the class or classes, and report to the principal on the progress of pupils on request.
