Job Summary

The Operational Trainer is responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs and providing ongoing support to ensure employees have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively. This role focuses on facilitating engaging training sessions and offering continuous support to a designated group of employees.

• Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to employees.
• Provide ongoing support and coaching to employees to apply new skills.
• Assess training effectiveness through feedback and assessments, making adjustments to improve quality.
• Manage training logistics, including scheduling, room setup, and technology requirements.
• Identify skill gaps with department heads and develop training plans.
• Encourage a culture of continuous learning.

• Proven experience in training and development, preferably in an operational environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to create a positive learning environment.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency in training software and tools.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Relevant certifications in training and development are a plus.
• Must be fluent in French and English.
• Regular travel to Quebec and other Canadian provinces, including occasional outside normal working hours.
