Hours:

Temporary, 2.5 hours Saturday Mornings, excluding holiday weekends. Annual Compensation: $28.22 + 4% per hour Specific duties and responsibilities include:
Under the direction of the Supervisor of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Continuing Education School, the International & Indigenous Languages Instructor is responsible for the delivery of the Board’s International & Indigenous Languages program in the one of the following languages, Korean, Tamil, Spanish, Russian, Hebrew and Portuguese. Skills and

Qualifications:

Grade 12 Diploma or equivalency. Demonstrated experience in working with children in a learning environment. Proven ability to work in both a cooperative and independent environment. Ensuring a positive and safe learning environment for all students, staff and members of the public. Be responsible for following the curriculum as well as making lesson plans, planning activities for children. May include a minimum of two events to showcase the students’ international language skills for the parents (Christmas and year end).

Attending all necessary virtual meetings as they relate to the program Effective interpersonal and leadership skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Demonstrated proficiency with computers. First Aid Certification would be an asset If travel within the Board’s jurisdiction is required, candidates must have access to transportation.
