Library Summer Program Assistant- Summer

WASAGA BEACH PUBLIC LIBRARY JOB POSTING Library Summer Program Assistant (Up to 30 hours per week - June to August 2026) The Wasaga Beach Public Library is seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to perform the duties and responsibilities of Library Summer Program Assistant to develop and carry out programs, events and activities offered either virtually or in-person at the Library during the summer.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and people skills;
Experience working with children in a variety of programs and settings;
Experience initiating and implementing a variety of youth programs;
Possess effective interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with a demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for working with the public;
Available June-August inclusive - hours include weekdays, weekends and evenings;
Able to provide an appropriate criminal reference check, vulnerable sector, upon hire.

Hourly Range: $17.60;
