The Simcoe County District School Board is seeking a qualified teacher for a Semester 1 LTO assignment covering 2 periods of I/S Drama. Candidates will play a vital role in instruction and management in an inclusive, equitable teaching environment. Expectations include effective planning, assessment, and adherence to board policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging I/S Drama lessons to students

• Assess pupil progress and report to the principal

• Prepare teaching plans as required by the principal

• Ensure safety procedures are followed during activities

• Participate in meetings with parents or guardians

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications and experience in drama education

• Strong commitment to equity and inclusion

• Ability to perform classroom management duties

• Positive collaboration with staff and community

• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment
