Position: Basic & Advanced Hairstyling Instructor
Location: Innisfil

Shape future hairstylists at Simcoe County District School Board as a Basic and Advanced Hairstyling Instructor. Deliver engaging lessons and evaluations while fostering an inclusive environment.

This semester-long LTO position involves three teaching periods focused on hairstyling and aesthetics.

Your role will include effective instruction, class management, and student performance assessments. Collaborate with staff to maintain a supportive educational atmosphere and ensure safety in all activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective instruction and evaluate student progress

• Prepare lesson plans in alignment with education standards

• Maintain classroom readiness prior to each class

• Cooperate with administration and fellow teachers

• Facilitate communication with parents or guardians

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in hairstyling or aesthetics

• Experience in educational environments preferred

• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles

• Mandatory training completion prior to starting

• Strong communication and organizational skills
