Position: Special Education Internal Contract Role

The position offers a 0.7 FTE commitment, split between 0.4 SERT duties and 0.3 planning time. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective instruction and evaluation for assigned pupils

• Manage classroom dynamics and report on student progress

• Prepare teaching plans as required by leadership

• Ensure safety procedures in all educational activities

• Collaborate with colleagues for consistent educational practices

Requirements:

• Skilled in managing classroom instruction

• Valid teaching qualifications in Special Education

• Experience with instructional planning and assessment

• Ability to communicate and engage with parents

• Vulnerable Sector Check required prior to employment
