The Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering is seeking a Lab Technologist (Level
B) to lead undergraduate lab courses. This position involves preparing and teaching assigned labs, monitoring student performance, and collaborating with instructors for effective course delivery. You will develop experiments, maintain lab safety, and supervise Graduate Assistants while nurturing an engaging learning atmosphere for students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and teach undergraduate lab courses
• Monitor and assess student lab assignments
• Collaborate with faculty for lecture-lab synchronization
• Develop and enhance lab materials and experiments
• Supervise and train Graduate Assistants
Requirements:
• BASc or BEng in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in lab development and operation
• Strong teaching aptitude with communication skills
• Ability to manage lab safety and technical operations
• Willingness to train in various specializations
