Position: Intermediate Science Teacher - Semester 1
Facilitate learning as an Intermediate Science Teacher for Semester 1 with the Simcoe County District School Board. Engage students with effective instruction and comprehensive evaluation.
This is an LTO role for one period during Semester 1, focusing on delivering and assessing science education. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to equity and inclusion, adapting to diverse student needs. Responsibilities include managing classes, preparing lesson plans, and collaborating with the principal to ensure student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective science instruction in the classroom

• Evaluate and report on student progress

• Prepare teaching plans and submit them on request

• Ensure classroom safety procedures are followed

• Participate in meetings with parents or guardians
Requirements:

• Valid teaching certification for Intermediate Science

• Experience in classroom management and student assessment

• Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment

• Strong communication skills with students and parents

• Willingness to undergo mandatory training and background check
