Assignment details: Semester 1 LTO — 3 Periods Right Turn (2 Positions) – Multiple

Qualifications:

I/S Math, I/S Science, I/S Geography, I/S History, I/S Social Science, Guidance. First Nation, Metis & Inuit Studies preferred;
Inclusive Classrooms and Anti‑Black Racism qualifiers preferred.

Interview process: Applicants will provide written interview responses to 4 questions.

1 Period = 0.33334, 2 Periods = 0.66667, 3 Periods = 1.0

Salary range effective September 1, 2025: $59,128 – $119,974 (pro‑rated if less than full time)

Responsibilities
  • Provide effective instruction, training, and evaluation of pupils in assigned subjects; manage the class or classes and report progress to the principal as requested.
  • Carry out supervisory duties and instructional programmes assigned by the principal and supply required information.
  • Cooperate fully with teachers appointed under relevant provisions and with the principal on all instructional matters.
  • Be present in the classroom or teaching area and ensure readiness at least fifteen minutes before morning classes and five minutes before afternoon classes, unless otherwise assigned.
  • Assist the principal in maintaining community cooperation.
  • Prepare teaching plans and outlines as required by the principal or supervisory officer and submit upon request.
  • Ensure all reasonable safety procedures are performed in courses and activities taught.
  • Cooperate with the principal and other teachers to establish consistent disciplinary practices.
  • Ensure report cards are completed and processed in accordance with provincial guidelines for English and French.
  • Cooperate and assist in administering tests under the Education Quality and Accountability Office Act, 1996.
  • Participate in regular meetings with pupils’ parents or guardians.
  • Perform duties assigned by the principal related to cooperative placements of pupils.
  • Perform duties normally associated with the graduation of pupils.
  • Carry out any additional duties assigned by the principal in connection with student placement and graduation responsibilities.
