Kindergarten Teacher Position

Position: Kindergarten Teacher Position Contract
Location: Bradford West Gwillimbury

Become a valued Kindergarten Teacher with the Simcoe County District School Board on a 0.7 contract basis, working 3.5 days per week. Bring your teaching expertise and commitment to equity and inclusion to inspire young learners.

This position requires you to be a permanent educator with at least five years of experience. Responsibilities include effective instruction, classroom management, and collaboration with colleagues and the principal.

Your role will also involve preparing lesson plans, maintaining safety protocols, and engaging with parents to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective instruction and evaluation of students

• Prepare teaching plans and submit them for review

• Manage classroom dynamics and uphold safety procedures

• Maintain communication with parents and guardians

• Participate in cooperative placements and pupil graduation duties

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years teaching experience with another board

• Proven ability to implement an inclusive and equitable teaching approach

• Commitment to continuous professional development

• Vulnerable Sector Check requirement for new hires

• Willingness to complete mandatory training modules
