The Simcoe County District School Board is seeking passionate educators for two long-term occasional teaching assignments. These positions require multiple qualifications including I/S Math, I/S Science, and I/S Geography among others. Candidates with First Nation, Metis, and Inuit Studies experience, as well as expertise in Inclusive Classrooms and Anti-Black Racism, will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage effective instruction and evaluation for students

• Prepare detailed teaching plans as required

• Maintain discipline and safety in the classroom

• Cooperate with colleagues and community stakeholders

• Assist with curriculum assessments as directed

Requirements:

• Multiple teaching qualifications as specified

• Passion for teaching and fostering inclusivity

• Commitment to continuous professional development

• Background in Indigenous studies preferred

• Willingness to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
