Multiple Subjects Summer Teacher Cookstown

New Path is hiring a Summer School Teacher for multiple subjects in Cookstown. This in-person role emphasizes effective live instruction, class management, and student support from July 2nd to July 29th, 2026.

The position entails a focus on Independent Studies and Literacy/Numeracy support for grades 7 and 8. You will manage classes of no more than 10 students, preparing them for their academic paths through structured instruction and collaboration with the principal. Active participation in community relationships is also a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute effective instructional programs for students

• Conduct evaluations of students' progress regularly

• Prepare the classroom environment and materials for learning

• Engage with parents during scheduled meetings

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols in teaching settings

Requirements:

• Preference for Special Education Certification

• Familiarity with teaching various subjects

• Proficient in using D2L Bright Space

• Ability to work with credit recovery materials

• Available for the summer dates of July 2nd to July 29th, 2026
