Position: Contract Teacher Position at Simcoe County

As a Contract External at SCDSB, you'll engage in effective instruction and evaluation of students in your assigned classes. You will work collaboratively with teachers and the principal, overseeing community relations and maintaining consistent disciplinary practices. Your responsibilities also include preparing teaching plans, reporting on student progress, and participating in meetings with parents and guardians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective instruction and training to pupils in assigned subjects

• Manage classroom environments and report progress to the principal

• Prepare teaching plans and outlines as required

• Participate in co-operative placements and graduation duties

• Maintain safety procedures in courses and activities

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of permanent contract teaching experience

• Eligibility to teach French or Native Sign Language

• Submission of two professional references
