Position: 0.5 FSL Teaching Contract at Simcoe
Engage students as a part-time FSL teacher with the Simcoe County District School Board, teaching 0.5 Full School Load. Bring your expertise to enhance French language learning in a positive environment.

This contract position focuses on French as a Second Language and requires five years of teaching experience. You will develop effective lesson plans and assessments while managing classroom activities. Collaborate closely with colleagues and the principal to promote student progress and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively instruct and evaluate student progress in assigned subjects

• Manage classroom activities and prepare for classes promptly

• Collaborate with colleagues and the principal for educational success

• Maintain safety procedures during lessons and activities

• Complete report cards in compliance with provincial guidelines

Requirements:

• Five years of permanent teaching experience required

• Permission to contact professional references needed

• Vulnerable Sector Check must be satisfactory

• Mandatory training modules are required
