The SCDSB seeks a qualified educator for a part-time, 0.66667 FTE position in Special Education, focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorder. In this role, you’ll plan lessons, assess student progress, and engage with parents, while contributing to an inclusive environment. Responsibilities include delivering effective instruction, managing classroom behavior, and preparing necessary teaching documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective instruction for students with ASD

• Manage classroom dynamics and report progress to the principal

• Prepare teaching plans and ensure classroom readiness

• Participate in community engagement and cooperation with staff

• Complete report cards and assist with standardized tests

Requirements:

• Teaching qualification in Special Education
