LTO Teacher - Manufacturing Technology

Opportunity with Simcoe County District School Board as an LTO Teacher in Basic and Advanced Manufacturing Technology for Semester
1. Engage students through effective instruction and evaluation.

This position will cover two periods and involves managing class activities while preparing teaching plans. You will collaborate closely with the principal and other teachers, ensuring classrooms are ready and safe. Also, regular reporting on pupil progress is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective instruction and evaluation in assigned classes

• Manage classroom organization and readiness before lessons

• Collaborate with the principal on community engagement

• Prepare teaching plans as required by the principal

• Ensure safety procedures in all courses and activities

Requirements:

• Valid teaching qualifications in Ontario

• Ability to create inclusive classroom environments

• Experience with diverse student populations preferred

• Strong communication skills with parents and staff

• Vulnerable Sector Check required before employment
