We invite applications for a Semester 1 long-term occasional (LTO) position. The successful candidate will teach three periods of drama while ensuring effective instruction and class management. Commitment to the SCDSB's equity and inclusion principles is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and teach an engaging drama curriculum
• Assess student performance and progress regularly
• Collaborate with school staff to enhance learning
• Prepare lesson plans in alignment with board requirements
• Ensure a welcoming and prepared classroom environment
Requirements:
• Certified to teach at Intermediate/Senior levels
• Background in drama or theater education
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• Experience with diverse learning needs
• Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check
