Position: Contract External Teacher - Simcoe County

Become a Contract External Teacher at Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) with a focus on effective instruction and student evaluation. This position offers flexible teaching schedules from 30% to 90% commitment.
SCDSB is looking for an experienced Contract External Teacher to manage classroom instruction and evaluate student progress in compliance with Ontario regulations. The role includes preparation of teaching plans, supervision, and close cooperation with the principal and other educators. Teachers are responsible for maintaining classroom readiness and implementing safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective instruction and evaluate student progress

• Prepare teaching outlines and submit plans to the principal

• Maintain classroom safety and readiness before classes

• Participate in meetings with parents and guardians

• Collaborate with other educators for consistency and discipline
Requirements:

• Five or more years of contract teaching experience

• Certification in relevant teaching subjects
