School Leader Position

Position: Full School Leader Contract Position
Location: angus

Become a Full School Leader with the Simcoe County District School Board in a Contract External role. Engage in effective instruction, assessment, and class management while fostering community relationships.
This position requires a minimum of five years of permanent contract teaching experience from another board. You will prepare teaching plans, conduct assessments, and ensure classrooms are ready for students. Collaboration with the principal and other educators is key to maintaining high instructional standards and supportive disciplinary practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train and evaluate pupils in assigned subjects

• Prepare teaching plans upon request from the principal

• Maintain consistent instructional practices with colleagues

• Ensure classrooms are ready before classes begin

• Conduct regular meetings with students' parents or guardians
Requirements:

• Minimum five years of permanent contract teaching experience

• Familiarity with equity-deserving group principles

• Strong commitment to effective instruction and management

• Ability to work closely with the school community

• Capable of participating in pupil graduation duties
