Lead innovative Tech Design classes at Simcoe County District School Board, taking on a Long-Term Occasional role for Grades 9-12. Inspire creativity in students through practical, hands-on learning.
The SCDSB is looking for an experienced Tech Design Instructor to deliver engaging lessons over a semester. This position involves fostering student collaboration, assessing progress, and maintaining effective classroom management. You will implement safety procedures to ensure a secure learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and assess Tech Design concepts and skills

• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans for effective instruction

• Enforce classroom discipline and safety regulations

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance learning outcomes

• Conduct meetings with parents or guardians regarding progress
Requirements:

• Ontario teaching certificate in Technology Education

• Strong background in technical instruction and classroom management

• Familiarity with the Ontario report card system

• Dedication to fostering an inclusive educational atmosphere

• Ability to comply with safety and regulatory standards
