Contribute to student safety through resource development at the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB). This contract opportunity focuses on creating digital safety materials for classrooms and promoting responsible online behaviors.
SCDSB is looking for current OSSTF teachers for two 40-hour positions. As a developer, you'll engage with reputable sources to create lessons aligned with the Ontario curriculum. Collaborating with team members, you'll support the foundation of digital safety education in both elementary and secondary settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create lessons promoting digital safety for various grades
• Develop resources that align with Ontario curriculum standards
• Organize instructional content for accessibility on staff website
• Engage with evidence-based materials for curriculum development
• Collaborate with administrators and team members on project tasks
Requirements:
• Ontario Teacher’s Certificate of Qualification
• Knowledge of SCDSB Digital Safety resources
• Experience in resource vetting for digital safety teaching
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Background in mental health literacy and AI integration
