Position: Part Time Planning Instructor Simcoe County
Join the Simcoe County District School Board as a Contract External Planning Time Instructor. This role focuses on teaching effectiveness, classroom management, and collaboration with faculty.
This part-time position requires at least five years of permanent contract teaching experience in relevant subjects. You will engage with pupils, maintain a productive learning environment, and support the principal in overseeing instructional programs. Your responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, managing report cards, and implementing safety procedures, ensuring compliance with provincial guidelines for teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective instruction in assigned subjects

• Manage classroom dynamics and maintain learning environments

• Collaborate with administrative staff for instructional reporting

• Prepare and submit lesson plans upon request

• Participate in meetings with pupils’ parents or guardians
Requirements:

• Minimum five years of permanent contract teaching experience

• Ability to teach in a French or ND SL environment is an asset

• Experience with co-operative placements

• Knowledge of educational quality standards compliance
