Life Skills Special Education Instructor

Join us as a Life Skills Special Education Instructor in a Semester 1 LTO capacity.

Your role emphasizes instruction, student evaluation, and collaborative teaching.

This part-time position entails planning effective lessons, supervising students, and working closely with Principal David Brooks. You'll maintain classroom standards, communicate with the community, and assist in students' overall educational development while executing necessary duties that promote academic progress among life skills pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage classroom instruction and student evaluations

• Prepare and submit teaching plans as needed

• Conduct safety procedures for all educational activities

• Collaborate with peers on discipline practices

• Engage with parents through regular meetings

Requirements:

• Certification in Special Education required

• Experience with special needs populations is an asset

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual needs
