Join the Simcoe County District School Board as a Senior Math Educator this Semester
1. Shape young minds through innovative teaching methods and solid instruction.
This LTO position requires teaching one period of Senior Math. You will assess student progress, manage classroom behavior, and collaborate with educators and administrators. Commitment to diverse learning needs and community engagement are crucial for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure effective math instruction and assess student achievement
• Prepare lesson plans and classroom readiness prior to school starts
• Participate in community engagement and co-operative placements
• Conduct regular meetings with parents regarding student progress
• Uphold safety standards during all courses and activities
Requirements:
• Ontario teaching qualifications are mandatory
• Experience in Senior Math education is desirable
• Dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education
• Provide two professional references upon application
• Willingness to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Check
