Intermediate/Senior English Teacher Position

The semester 1 LTO position involves 3 periods, focusing on instructional duties, student progress reporting, and classroom management. You will collaborate with the principal and fellow teachers to ensure an enriched learning experience for students. Responsibilities also include preparation of teaching plans and maintaining safety procedures in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver effective instruction in assigned English subjects
• Manage classroom dynamics and student behavior
• Prepare teaching plans as required by the principal
• Ensure safety in classroom activities and procedures
• Complete report cards per provincial guidelines
Requirements:
• Relevant teaching qualifications and experience required
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
• Willingness to cooperate with community and school stakeholders
• Ability to complete Vulnerable Sector Check
• Provide references upon request
