Position: Contract External Teacher Grade 4

Elevate student learning as a Contract External Teacher (Grade
4). This role demands effective instruction, evaluation, and class management, contributing to the educational success of pupils.

We seek candidates with at least five years of permanent contract teaching experience eligible under federal and provincial equity standards. Responsibilities include crafting teaching plans, ensuring safety procedures, and collaborating with school principals and staff on instructional matters. You’ll also engage with the community and parents to foster student growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective instruction and evaluation of assigned subjects

• Prepare teaching plans and outlines as required

• Ensure classroom readiness before the start of classes

• Maintain consistent disciplinary practices with staff

• Complete and process report cards accurately

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of contract teaching experience

• Self-identified member of an equity-deserving group

• Proficient in implementing safety procedures
