Join the Simcoe County District School Board as an Intermediate/Senior French Teacher for Semester
1. This long-term occasional teaching role involves working with students across three periods in French.
As a member of SCDSB, you will play a pivotal role in implementing effective French instruction while supporting an inclusive educational environment. Responsibilities include managing classroom activities, preparing lesson plans, and collaborating with fellow educators to enhance student learning. Your commitment to individualization will reinforce the Board's values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive French instruction to students
• Manage classroom engagement and student behavior
• Develop teaching plans and instructional outlines
• Engage with parents or guardians in educational meetings
• Conduct student assessments and evaluations
Requirements:
• Ontario teaching certification valid for French
• Proven experience in teaching French at the required levels
• Dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Strong collaborative skills with staff and administration
• Submission of a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
