Join the Simcoe County District School Board as a digital safety curriculum developer. This 40-hour summer writing contract involves crafting essential learning resources for students.

The SCDSB seeks two educators to develop comprehensive digital safety resources under established Ministry guidelines. Successful candidates will have experience with the Ontario curriculum, particularly in integrating safe and ethical online behaviors into classroom lessons.

Your role will contribute significantly to student well-being and digital citizenship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive, grade-appropriate digital safety lessons

• Ensure alignment with the Ontario curriculum and Ministry resources

• Format educational resources for easy access and consistency

• Collaborate with the Digital Safety Learning Resource Team

• Complete administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Certification as an Ontario Teacher

• Knowledge of mental health and digital safety resources

• Proven experience in educational resource design

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities

• Technology proficiency for educational application
