This Long-Term Occasional (LTO) position focuses on leading one period of Special Education for Life Skills, where you are committed to enhancing individual student learning and progress. The role encompasses preparation and delivery of engaging lessons while ensuring the classroom supports student safety and collaboration with other educators. You will also be proactive in maintaining communication with parents and guardians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Life Skills effectively to promote student growth
• Assess and manage pupil progress continually
• Prepare necessary instructional materials
• Ensure classroom safety and readiness
• Coordinate with colleagues for comprehensive student support
Requirements:
• Qualified in Special Education teaching
• Experience working with diverse learners
• Strong ability to adapt teaching methods
• Experience with individualization and inclusion strategies
• Vulnerable Sector Check needed prior to employment
