Position: 3 Period English Teaching Assignment LTO
Enhance learning as an English Teacher for three periods this semester at the Simcoe County District School Board. This Long-Term Occasional position focuses on student evaluation, instruction, and classroom management.

As a part of this teaching assignment, you will be accountable for promoting effective instruction and ensuring all educational duties assigned by the principal are met. Engage in maintaining effective communication with parents and contribute to a supportive classroom environment dedicated to student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct instructional duties and evaluate student progress transparently

• Prepare necessary teaching plans as outlined by administration

• Collaborate with staff on disciplinary and safety practices

• Fulfill participation requirements for parent or guardian meetings

• Support the administration of educational assessments

Requirements:

• Certified to teach Intermediate/Senior English

• Demonstrated effectiveness in managing and assessing classes

• Focus on inclusive educational practices

• Ability to fulfill cooperative duties as requested

• Strong interpersonal skills with parents and colleagues
