Our curriculum focuses on interprofessional education and patient-centred care. Quality work placements and outstanding labs allow students to gain valuable experience. In addition, our students have the opportunity for experiential learning in our clinics, which are open to the public.
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a strategic and forward thinking academic leader who will play a pivotal role in providing academic leadership to the School of Nursing within the Health, Wellness & Sciences portfolio. The Associate Dean will champion high standards of academic excellence, ensure outstanding program delivery and lead evidence informed enhancements that keep programs current, innovative, and responsive to evolving labor markets, technology, and professional practice expectations.
This also includes championing scholarly and research activities while strengthening community engagement and external partnerships that enrich learning experiences, support innovation, and enhance opportunities for students and faculty. With a strong understanding of the post secondary health education landscape, the Associate Dean will advance college wide academic priorities and cultivate a collaborative and engaged team culture centered around shared commitment to student success.
This role requires a leader with strong decision making skills, sound judgement, and a high level of accountability.
